Yet another reblog of myself.
This sweater is one of my favorite things. Sadly, it is way too big for me. I hope it stays that way forever.
My friend Jon, modeling a sweater my wife made for me. The sweater is big enough to put on over my coat. I love it, even though I may never be big enough to wear it.

Plays: 194[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]
Out of all the strange things that happened today, and there were many, this was the most unexpected.
Best of Bootie 2009- Single Ladies in Mayberry.
Brilliant.

The dashboard won’t show both pictures in this post. Look at them on my site to get the full effect. (Thanks to Neven Mrgan for this neat trick).
My brother fell of his skateboard. I was amused.

When You’re a Jet (via calebsexton)
In response to Jason Permenter
I hit a Grand Slam because the ball went in a gopher hole. My one sporting triumph.

Reblogged for its Modestoness, and being a great song.
Grandaddy - “Now It’s On” (2003)
Amazing band. That I always thought sounded a little like The Alan Parsons Project.

Schedule
I already am looking like a lesser Hutt, so that was pretty much my plan too.
Good luck Tony.
12/21/09-1/1/10: Eat and drink like one of the more decadent of Roman emperors.
1/2/10-1/22/10: Work like crazy to get rid of those 10 (or 20, or 30) extra holiday pounds before the SF tweetup.

It has been a while since I have posted any music here. Surprise, it is not bluegrass this time. It is something even whiter - Radiohead and Dave Brubeck.
“5 Step” by Overdubsound
“15 Step” by Radiohead + “Take Five” by Dave Brubeck

Jason Lytle played a little hometown show last night in Modesto. His first time back since moving to Montana.
Neil Jackson (Built Like Alaska) opened the show with few songs. Lytle’s portion of the show consisted of him trying to remember the lyrics to Grandaddy songs and resisting the urge to punch the very drunk hipster in the front row yelling ‘Crystal Lake’ over and over.
It was a great last minute show. Thanks to him and everyone that came out for it.
Here is Lytle singing ‘Brand New Sun’ - http://vidly.com/bIKs
